Years ago our author became involved in the vaccine issue when he and his colleagues were treating vaccine injured patients.
More recently the issue of vaccines has become a major topic of discussion and legislation in the U.S. and around the world. Elliott realized it is crucially important that people engaging in this conversation and contemplating this legislation understand the issue in a comprehensive and nuanced way. While the topic is vastly intricate and there is so much to know, we all need a way to enter into the conversation.
This book was conceived as a primer to introduce those late to the conversation to the contours and the context. It describes the major questions, what we know about them and what remains to be learned.
It references solid, reliable sources of information and makes the issue approachable and understandable to the curious, thoughtful human.
We have decided to introduce a new concept to book publishing. This book is part of a multi media presentation. The book carries us through the central points of the discussion. Throughout the book we give end note numbers. As many of the end notes contain links to official websites like the National Library of Medicine or the Center for Disease Control or the websites of prominent medical journals, we have decided to publish the end notes on line. This makes it easier to access them. It also reduces paper use and may save a tree or two. Instead of having to type long web addresses from the back of a book into your browser, you can just visit this website and click on the hyperlink that will take you right to the source of information.

We have also begun work on a series of short video discussions of some of the central themes and the science presented in the book. These will be posted to youtube and linked here on the website.
Stay tuned for more knowledge and insight and please contact us with any feedback or responses.
